Happiness Is A State Of Mind

It is said, happiness is a state of mind, but what exactly do we mean by “state of mind?” Well, state of mind refers to everything around you at a particular time. It’s basically your mental state at a given time. But when it is our state of mind that determines happiness, why isn’t everyone able to keep themselves happy? Why in our minds we can’t simply plant the thought of living a happy life?  Well, we can but we don’t! Yes, that’s the biggest obstacle in our way to lead a happy, fulfilling life.

We often keep postponing our happiness for future and keep escaping from reality. We will be happy when we get this. We will be happy when things take a particular shape. We will be happy when we reach such and such position, etc. The need is to accept the reality and design it for the present. We need to accept the present and adjust our perspective to see a new reality.

To be happy, one needs to understand the importance of love and peace. It is a state where these two elements matter most. You need to live each and every moment in present. It is a state where doing nothing is no more boring but being at peace. You listen to your inner voice and smile with confidence.

Another thing we need to understand is happiness is not necessarily perfection. Don’t seek perfection in everything you do. Just be authentic and happiness will follow. Let go of what you can’t control, count your blessings and focus on your strengths. Do good to others and the same will come back to you. You deserve a full and happy life, go for it, TODAY!
